I have been using my desktop printer to produce inkjet prints of heavily modified ads found online. Because the ink is water-based, the final prints can be modified, painted over, or completely erased with the use of clear water. The process of image transformation begins with digital manipulation by me, but it continues and extends onto the viewer by providing brushes and water to further manipulate or erase the images according to each participant’s desire.
